WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN HOLDING SO MUCH

You love them.
You’re exhausted.
Both can be true.

Perhaps you have tried talking, pleading, getting angry or stepping back. You find yourself checking your phone, questioning what you are being told and wondering what will happen next.

Our conversations make room for your fear, frustration and uncertainty. We can explore how to communicate your concerns, set boundaries you can maintain and look after yourself through it.

You can ask for support even if the person you love is not ready to seek help.

THREE PATHWAYS. ROOM FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE.

What are you worried about?

You may recognise more than one of these. We begin with what is happening and how it is affecting you.

01

Alcohol and/or substances

Increasing use, repeated promises, money worries or a growing distance between you. It can be difficult to know what to say or where your responsibility ends.

We explore your concerns, your boundaries and where further support may be needed.

02

Chemsex & Sexualised substance use

When sex and substances become closely linked, partners and families may feel frightened, confused or unsure how to begin a conversation.

There is space to ask questions while respecting the person’s sexuality, privacy and dignity.

03

Compulsive sexual behaviour

When porn, cams or other sexual behaviour feel difficult for someone to control, those close to them can be left with questions about trust and connection.

Your experience matters. We consider what you need and what support could help.

WHAT WORKING TOGETHER CAN LOOK LIKE

A conversation.
Then a clearer next step.

  1. Make space for your concerns

We start with what is happening, what feels hardest and what you need. You do not need the right words.

  2. Prepare for a conversation

Think through what you want to say, possible responses and whether it is safe and appropriate to have that conversation.

  3. Clarify boundaries and support

Explore practical limits around money, contact and responsibilities, alongside suitable specialist support where needed.

  4. Reflect and adjust

Follow up coaching gives you space to review what happened, look after yourself and consider your next steps.

FOR PARENTS AND CARERS

When children
are affected, too.

You may be caring for children while trying to support someone you love. We can make space for the pressures you face and consider where specialist support for children and young people is needed.

The coaching described here is for adults. Direct support for someone under 18 requires an appropriate children’s or young people’s service.

A FEW THINGS YOU MAY BE WONDERING

You can ask.

Can I speak to you on my own?

Yes. The first conversation can be about your experience and the support you need. Your loved one does not have to attend or already be receiving help.

Will you make them accept help?

No. I cannot promise or force another person’s decision. Our work can help you express your concerns, understand your options and make considered choices about your own boundaries and wellbeing.

Is this therapy or a formal intervention service?

This page describes coaching, mentoring and preparation for conversations. Medical assessment, treatment and professionally facilitated interventions require the appropriate specialist. We can discuss which type of support fits your situation.

What happens on the free clarity call?

We have 30 minutes to talk about your concerns, answer questions and see whether my support fits your needs. If we decide to work together, we agree the focus, cost and support included before you commit.

YOU DESERVE SUPPORT TOO

You do not have to
work this out alone.

You do not need to have all the answers. Our first conversation can simply be about what is happening and what you need.

30 minutes. No pressure. No obligation.
